<img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/56550259_1619991243629699_r.jpeg" alt="56550259_1619991243629699_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" />Hello, my name is Kyle Stejskal and I am currently a Life Scout working towards the rank of Eagle.  Being a Bethel resident my entire life, I have always been intrigued by our town's history.  The Bethel Historical Society has a small museum space located at 40 Main Street, in Bethel, CT.   Presently, the museum has limited shelving and display cabinets for viewing artifacts from Bethel's past.  For my Eagle Scout Service Project, I have designed four very large display cabinets and will be managing a team of volunteers and scouts to build the cabinets.   My goal is to preserve our town's history and to also showcase Bethel’s treasured memorabilia for years to come.  Currently, there are dozens of large plastic bins that contain artifacts unseen by the public.  This project will allow visitors to view and experience more of Bethel's historical past.  I will also be re-painting the museum room to spruce it up.
