Historical Restaurant Concept Employee Relief Fund

In response to the national emergency presented by the spread of COVID-19, the four restaurants that make up Historical Restaurant Concepts -- Station 2, Postbellum, Oak & Apple, and Root Stock -- had to make the heart wrenching decision to temporarily let go part of our Family -- 45 members of our beloved staff whose livelihood depends on people gathering together. A closure of this extended timeline will be devastating. It is my hope that we can take care of our own and give our staff that brought such joy to the restaurant community and the city of Richmond the financial support they need to weather this storm.
We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of encouragement from our friends and patrons, many of whom have generously asked how to contribute to the welfare of our employees. In response, we created a Go Fund Me page for contributions.
If you find it in your heart to "leave a tip", we thank you for your kindness - large or small, the amount matters not. And if you'd be so kind as to pass this along to your contacts, we'd be appreciative more than you can imagine. We will be withdrawing donations weekly and dividing 100% of them (after GoFundMe fees) to our staffers as soon as they are received to cover their mounting bills and to continue to cover their health insurance.
We thank you in advance for your contributions and very much look forward to getting back to the business of bringing you great food, drinks, social interaction, and love. We're all in this together.

Update: Funds will be divided among the 45 employees who have been laid off due to COVID-19 and the restrictions placed on restaurants to only offer carryout and curb-side pickup. Each employee will get a percentage based on the average number of hours they worked in a week.
This will take place weekly.
In addition, we are offering free meals to all staff who have been laid off.
