Hippo Pup's Vet Expenses

Our names are Sam and Jacqui and we live in Perth, WA. This is Hippolyta (Hippo for short). She is our 12 week old staffy x puppy. We rescued Hippo from A1 Wheatbelt dog rescue after she was surrendered in Quairading at 8 weeks old. We are so thankful that we were able to bring Hippo into our little family. Sadly, only 4 weeks after she was rescued, Hippo has badly broken her leg. To fully regain function of her leg and to be without pain in her lifetime, Hippo will need to have surgery. But since she is still very young and small, the surgery is complex and requires a specialist. This comes at a great cost. Hippo's surgery will cost $5500, a figure that we regrettably do not have at our disposal. Asking for help is not something that comes easy to Jacqui or myself, but we are desparate to make sure Hippo has a chance  at the life she deserves. If anyone would like to contribute to giving Hippo the chance to run, dig, chase and leap like dogs are meant to, we will be forever grateful.
