Hip Replacement Surgery & Recovery Time
Donation protected
For a couple of years I had been dealing with an issue that was diagnosed as sciatic nerve problems. The pain became worse and off I went to find a second opinion. The new doctor ordered imaging on my lower back and hip area. My doctor found out the real problem. It seems I have to have both of my hips replaced at the young age of 34. I have something called AVN(Avascular necrosis). Which means I do not get enough blood flow to my hip bones. There fore I do not have the ability to rebuild cartilage in both of my hips so I must have them replaced. My left hip has already collapsed and is in pieces. The right hip is on it's way out now also. When the left is replaced and I am healed, then they will do a replacement on the right hip. Which is tough and not a great time in my life finacially. I guess no one plans for something like this. I have insurance, but it does not cover the whole operation. I have been denied disability, but am going to keep on trying. The donation that you provide for me will go for out of pocket payment and for the time I have to take off for recovery for both of my hips. I would like to thank you for the support and being a part of my life. Without you I would not be able to get through this.
Thank you,
