<div>Hi I’m Niko!

</div>

<div>Im 28, trans non-binary and work as a tattoo artist in Baltimore.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Ive been dealing with chronic hip and back pain of varying levels, at many times severe, for years. I’ve tried meds and physical therapy, but the pain always comes back.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>So I have finally seen a surgeon at the recommendation of an orthopedic specialist and will be having surgery on my hip this November.

</div>

<div>I am so grateful to have access to this care, but am very anxious about recovery as I will not be able to walk for 2 weeks and won’t be able to work for 6weeks.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Due to the physically demanding nature of my job, I am limited in how much I can work until surgery as well.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I am reaching out to my community for any and all support during this time.

</div>

<div>I am hoping to raise enough funds to cover bills, food, rides to/from drs appointments and physical therapy (I won’t be able to drive or walk for 2 weeks), and any meds/medical supplies I’ll need to recover.

</div>

<div>The surgery cost *should* be covered fully by insurance (they are giving some pushback)

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>thank you for reading and for any support you are able to provide as part of my community
