Hinterland shave n wax Blackbeard
Donation protected
Hinterland blues AFL club culture has been greatly influenced buy the actions of a single president. One that despite battling an agrresive cancer, managed to mother a whole football club. Since her passing the humble football club has hosted a “pink” day as a fundraiser for Bloomhill Cancer Care, who help Aussie battlers like our former president Dionne D’Elton to try to maintain a good quality of life.
As part of our Pink Day celebrations this year I will be shaving my head, and my beard, as well as waxing my chest, arms and legs. As a hairy man this is no small thing, but a drop in the ocean compared to what cancer sufferers and their families endure. I hope to raise $5000 to do my small part in helping those doing it tough, and to honour a great woman who meant so much to our great club.
