Hindsight 2020 Production

Hindsight 2020 is a devising company composed of international artists, navigating virtual performance through Zoom. The group was established by theatre artist, Rebecca Haley Clark, with co-production by Those Women Productions, a Berkeley, California based theatre group.
Through our company, we hope to not only create a virtual time capsule responding to the events of 2020, but make sense of the collective experience we have all gone through. This production would not be possible without the generosity of our community, and we are fundraising to provide a living wage for our artists. Our goal is to be able to compensate the artists for their time and dedication to the project after expenses as well as our to further develop this piece.
In addition to fundraising, tickets for our performance will be available at a pay-what-you-can rate ($1 minimum donation, 2.5% processing fee) and 25% of proceeds will be donated to nonprofit organizations who support vulnerable populations and those most affected by COVID-19:
-Equal Justice Initiative (USA) - Social Justice
-Acting for Others (UK) - Performing Artists Relief
-The Solutions Project (USA) - Climate Change/Sustainability
-Sylvia Rivera Law Project (USA) - LGBTQIA
-Stand with Farmers (India) - Food Insecurity/Suicide Prevention
We are attempting to raise these funds by the end of March before we present our first iteration of the project beginning on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 7:30pm PST.
The arts have truly been a lifeline this year and your donation will help to not only keep artists working but will be directly financing their next great work.
