Do you remember that last year, the old guys of Market Bosworth Rotary Club completed their personal 300 km cycle rides, clocking up an amazing 1700 km in total? They excelled on the sponsorship stakes too, raising over £4,000 for charity. Now planning is getting underway for the next cycling fundraiser and we’ll probably set our sights even higher!
Organiser Brian Cox tells us “ Looking to the next event, our priority at this early stage, has been to select a suitable local cause. We particularly want to support a local charity to whom our fundraising, would make a major impact. Our chosen charity is the Hinckley Homeless Group. Lawrence House is a modern home dedicated to helping single people aged 16-24 years old, who are actively seeking to improve their situation and take the first steps in achieving their own sustainable accommodation. We want to do all we can to help them”
