Himalaya Inter College School Library

Hi, I’m heading back to India in a few weeks to volunteer once again at Himalaya Inter College, a pre-K to grade 12 mountain school. A few years ago when I visited the principal, she expressed her desire to create a school of readers. We worked together to create a place where students could come, check out books, and understand how a library works for them and the school community. The school

is now in need of a new batch of books which I will buy in Delhi and carry 6.5 hrs on a train and then 7.5 hours by car to Chakouri where the school is located.

Any amount will help us bring some

new books to HIC.
