Hillsong Conference Trip - Sydney

Thanks for stopping by our page. Kara and I have just celebrated 17 years of marriage and worship ministry.  Our move to the Nashville area in 2016 has afforded us some amazing opportunities to not only serve our local church here Franklin, TN but also to invest and pour into the global church through worship leading, songwriting and partnering with other artist/worship leaders in the studio.  We could not be more encouraged knowing we are where God wants us to be.  That said, we wanted to let you know about an exciting opportunity that we have together this summer.

As you may or may not know, Chris has been pursuing a Master’s Degree in Worship Leadership from Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, TX.  Throughout his studies he has maintained a 4.0 grade point average.  His hard work and perseverance has not gone unnoticed by the program leaders at DBU.  Because of this, we have been invited to be a part of a once in a life time ministry trip this summer to Sydney, Australia to attend the Hillsong Conference. The trip dates are July 6 thru 14, 2018.  We are very honored by the invitation and excited about what God will do in both our lives while we are there.   

This trip and leadership conference comes at a great time for our ministry.  Not only will it give Chris 3 hours of course credit towards his degree but more importantly we see it as an opportunity for spiritual renewal, overall ministry leadership growth and a chance to strengthen our marriage as we learn and experience it together.  We will be sitting under the teaching of some incredible pastors, worship pastors and ministry leaders from around the globe.  You can read more about the conference at https://hillsong.com/conference.

The great news is that due to a very generous scholarship, tuition for Chris’ course is 100% covered.  So grateful!  However, there is still the need for our travel expenses.  We are wanting to put together a small, curated team to support us both in prayer and financially.   There is power in a team!  We consider you as someone who not only knows our family well but understands our heart for ministry and leadership.  Our combined need for the travel expenses is $4,500.  Would you prayerfully consider helping us?
