Help Us Feed Struggling Westchester Residents Impacted by Pandemic
Due to immediate need, we are helping our partner Hillside Food Outreach raise additional funds to get healthy food to Westchester residents in-need!
Hillside Food Outreach, has been asked by Westchester Country to start delivering food to those in need who are in quarantine or isolation due to the virus. Hillside is on the front lines fighting the impacts of the pandemic, which has left more families struggling and without access to food due to lose of income/jobs as well as access to some social services.
To help Hillside address this urgent situation, Pleasantville Community Garden is working to help them in their expanded mission of delivering food and supplies to those who need it. Your donation will enable Hillside to get more food and deliver it to more people quickly. Pleasantville Community Garden is continuing our weekly donations of fresh produce from the Pleasantville Farmers Market, but more help is needed. Here is how your donation could be used:
- case of cabbage costs - $17
- case of grapes costs - $30
- case of tangerines $40
