<div>I am Mahdi Karira, a Palestinian artist and theater puppet maker. The conflict that has been going on in Gaza for months has not been easy for me, my family and my mobile puppet theater team. The conflict cost us everything, including our dreams and our future. The worst thing I lost was my theater and the puppets I spent years making and the theater scripts I published. Given the difficulties faced by theater art in the Gaza Strip, extraordinary and years-long efforts were made to write and implement it.

<div>I was expelled from Gaza with my family to the city of Deir al-Balah in the middle of the Gaza Strip, leaving behind dreams that for me represented life and the most important part of myself. I left my puppet workshop and my mobile theater. My team, the theater group that I had worked to train for many years, was disbanded due to the conflict.

<div>Despite the difficult circumstances I went through; However, I quickly put aside my desperation. With the remnants of the war, I began making theater puppets from war leftovers and food aid cans. My primary goal was to entertain and provide psychological support to children and victims of the conflict in the refugee camps.
</div>
<div>Today I strive to create a mobile puppet theater with the aim of providing psychological assistance to war victims in different regions, and I dream of visiting all conflict regions to save children and give them hope for a better life. <div>Ich bin Mahdi Karira, ein palästinensischer Künstler und Theaterpuppenmacher. Der Konflikt, der seit Monaten in Gaza andauert, war für mich, meine Familie und mein Team der mobilen Puppentheater nicht einfach. Der Konflikt hat uns alles gekostet, einschließlich unserer Träume und unserer Zukunft. Das Schlimmste, was ich verloren habe, war mein Theater und die Puppen, an deren Herstellung ich jahrelang gearbeitet habe, und meine Theaterdrehbücher, die ich herausgegeben habe. Angesichts der Schwierigkeiten, mit denen die Theaterkunst im Gazastreifen konfrontiert war, wurden außergewöhnliche und jahrelange Anstrengungen unternommen, um sie zu schreiben und umzusetzen.

<div>Trotz der schwierigen Umstände, die ich durchgemacht habe; Ich habe meine Verzweiflung jedoch schnell abgelegt. Mit den Überresten des Krieges begann ich mit der Herstellung von Theaterpuppen aus Kriegsresten und Nahrungsmittelhilfedosen. Mein vorrangiges Ziel war es, Kinder und Opfer des Konflikts in den Flüchtlingslagern zu unterhalten und psychologisch zu unterstützen.

<div>Heute bemühe ich mich um die Schaffung eines mobilen Puppentheaters mit dem Ziel, Kriegsopfern in verschiedenen Regionen psychologische Hilfe zu leisten, und ich träume davon, alle Konfliktregionen zu besuchen, um Kinder zu retten und ihnen Hoffnung auf ein besseres Leben zu geben. <div>أنا مهدي كريرة فنان فلسطيني وصانع دُمى مسرحية، لم يكن الصراع الدائر في غزة منذ أشهر سهلاً عليَ أو على عائلتي فهو أفقدنا كل شيء بما في ذلك أحلامنا ومستقبلنا.. لكن أصعب ما أفقدتني إياه كان مسرحي والدُمى التي عكفت لسنوات على صناعتها ونصوصي المسرحية التي بذلت جهداً استثنائياً في كتابتها وتنفيذها في ظل الصعوبات التي يواجهها فن المسرح في قطاع غزة منذ سنوات.

<div>نزحت مع عائلتي من غزة لمدينة دير البلح وسط القطاع، تاركاً خلفي أحلاماً كانت هي الحياة بالنسبة لي والجزء الأهم من ذاتي، تركت ورشة الدُمى الخاصة بي ومسرحي المتنقل، وتشتت بسبب الصراع فريقي المسرحي الذي عكفت على تدريبه لسنوات طويلة.

<div>بالرغم من الظروف الصعبة التي مررت بها؛ إلا أنني لم أيأس وبدأت بتصنيع الدمى المسرحية من مخلفات الحرب ومعلبات المساعدات الغذائية، وهدفي الأساسي الترفيه النفسي عن الأطفال وضحايا الصراع.

<div>أبذل جهداً اليوم لإنشاء مسرح متنقل للدمى بهدف التفريغ النفسي لضحايا الحروب في مختلف المناطق، وأحلم أن أزور جميع المناطق التي تشهد صراعات لإنقاذ الطفولة وإعطائهم الأمل بحياة أفضل؛ لذا أرجو مساعدتي من خلال التبرع لإنشاء المسرح وإنقاذ مستقبل الأطفال بمناطق الصراعات والحروب.
