<div>Die kurdische Familie Yousof lebt seit 2021 in Glonn und kommt ursprünglich aus dem Irak. Der Vater Walid arbeitet Vollzeit bei einem ortsbekannten Friseur am Marktplatz und bringt sich ehrenamtlich als Schulweghelfer und in einigen Vereinen im Dorfleben ein. Beide Eltern haben erfolgreich den Deutsch- und Integrationskurs abgeschlossen. Die vier Kinder sind Malak, 14 Jahre, Avand, 13 Jahre, Mirva, 11 Jahre und Ayan, 6 Jahre alt. Alle besuchen die Grund- und Mittelschule Glonn und fühlen sich sehr wohl in Glonn. Avand spielt sehr gut Fußball in der Jugendmannschaft des ASV Glonn.

<div>Nach vier Jahren in Deutschland wurde der Asylantrag endgültig abgelehnt und die Familie aufgefordert auszureisen. Diese Vorstellung ist für die Familie unerträglich und besonders auch für die Kinder sehr belastend. Alle sind in der Dorfgemeinschaft sehr gut integriert und fühlen sich als Glonner Bürger.
