<div>Manuel ist fünf Jahre alt – ein fröhliches, lebendiges Kind, das trotz aller Herausforderungen so viel Lebensfreude in sich trägt. Er wächst gemeinsam mit seinen drei Geschwistern in unserer Familie auf.

<div>Aufgrund des seltenen Joubert-Syndroms ist sein Start ins Leben jedoch sehr schwer gewesen. Manuel leidet unter einer ausgeprägten Muskelhypotonie, Entwicklungsverzögerung und Bewegungsstörungen. Viele Dinge, die für andere Kinder selbstverständlich sind, sind für ihn aktuell noch nicht möglich. Er kann sich nicht selbstständig aufsetzen, stehen oder laufen.

<div>Als Eltern wünschen wir uns von Herzen, dass Manuel die Chance bekommt, sich bestmöglich zu entwickeln und ein Stück mehr Selbstständigkeit zu erreichen – vielleicht eines Tages sitzen, stehen oder sogar gehen zu können.

<div>Über eine Selbsthilfegruppe haben wir von intensiven neurologischen Therapien im ADELI Medical Center erfahren. Viele Eltern berichten dort von positiven Fortschritten, insbesondere im Bereich Muskelaufbau und Bewegungsentwicklung.

<div>Wir haben einen Termin für eine zweiwöchige Rehabilitation vom 27. April bis 10. Mai erhalten.
</div>

</div>
<div>Leider hat unsere Krankenkasse die Kostenübernahme abgelehnt.
</div>

</div>
<div>Trotzdem möchten wir diese Chance für Manuel nutzen – in der Hoffnung, ihm damit einen wichtigen Entwicklungsschritt zu ermöglichen und ihn näher an ein möglichst selbstständiges Leben heranzuführen.
</div>

</div>
<div>Die Kosten für Therapie, Unterkunft und Reise sind für uns als Familie jedoch sehr hoch und alleine nicht zu stemmen.
</div>

<div>Deshalb bitten wir von Herzen um Unterstützung.

<div>Jede Spende – egal wie klein – hilft Manuel auf seinem Weg.
