Es geht um Miley, unsere 9-jährige Old englische Bulldoggendame mit dem Charakter einer Queen und dem Charme eines Sofakissens. Wer sie kennt, liebt sie. Und wer sie nicht kennt, würde es innerhalb von Sekunden tun.

<div>Leider hat sich Miley beim Springen (ja, das kann sie noch!) vertreten und die Diagnose war ein echter Tiefschlag; Kreuzband kaputt! Laut Tierärztin braucht sie dringend eine Kreutzbandoperation, damit sie wieder schmerzfrei durch den Garten tänzeln kann wie einst durch die Wohnzimmer ihrer Familie.

<div>Jetzt kommt der Haken: Die OP kostet rund CHF 4500. Ihre Besitzerin, eine wundervolle alleinerziehende Mutter mit grossem Herz, aber kleinem Portemonnaie, kann diese Summe schlichtweg nicht stemmen. Keine reichen Tanten in Sicht, keine versteckten Goldbarren im Keller. Nur viel Liebe, Treue und die Hoffnung, dass es Menschen da draussen gibt, die mit ein bisschen Unterstützung ein grosses Wunder möglich machen können.
