<div>Kurz vor Weihnachten 2024 hat sich ihr Leben schlagartig verändert. Dominik, selbstständiger Maschinist, hatte einen schweren, unverschuldeten Arbeitsunfall. 
</div>
<div>Er wurde zwischen 2 Baggern eingeklemmt - ein Alptraum, den wir uns vorher nie hätten vorstellen können.

<div>Wochenlang lag Dominik im künstlichen Koma in der Uniklinik Gießen, weit weg von seiner Familie. Mehrfach musste er reanimiert werden, es folgten unzählige Operationen und lebensbedrohliche Komplikationen. Dass er heute noch bei uns ist grenzt an ein Wunder.

<div>Doch der Weg ist leider noch lange nicht vorbei: Dominik stehen weitere Operationen, intensive Therapien und eine lange Reha bevor. Seine Selbstständigkeit und damit die Existenzgrundlage der Familie sind zerstört. Seine Frau Nadine kümmert sich unermüdlich um die 3 kleinen Kinder und pflegt gleichzeitig ihren Mann Dominik.

<div>Die hohen Krankenkosten, Rehamaßnahmen, Therapien und der tägliche Lebensunterhalt sind für die Familie allein nicht mehr zu stemmen.
