<div>Ich möchte euch meine Hündin Chi vorstellen. Sie ist gerade 10 Jahre alt geworden und seit fast 8 Jahren Teil unserer Familie. Ursprünglich haben wir sie aus einem Tierschutzverein in Spanien übernommen – seitdem bereichert sie jeden Tag unseres Lebens mit ihrer Lebensfreude und ihrer Liebe.

<div>Leider hat sich in den letzten Wochen unser Leben schlagartig verändert. Chi musste viele Untersuchungen und Behandlungen durchstehen, bis schließlich in einer Tierklinik durch ein CT die erschütternde Diagnose gestellt wurde. Bindegewebssarkom am Nasenrücken. Es hat sich bereits an der Stirn eine Blutblase gebildet. Der Tumor kann nicht operativ entfernt werden. Die behandelte Klinik hat uns die Tierklinik Hofheim empfohlen, da diese eine der wenigen Kliniken ist die eine Bestrahlung anbieten.

<div>Unsere OP-Versicherung übernimmt die Kosten nicht, da es sich nicht um eine Operation handelt. Nun haben wir die Möglichkeit, Chi mit einer Bestrahlung zu helfen – eine Behandlung, die ihre Lebensqualität deutlich verbessern und ihr wertvolle Zeit schenken könnte. Doch die Kosten dafür liegen je nach Dauer zwischen 2.500 € und 8.000 €.

<div>Unsere bisherigen Kosten belaufen sich bereits auf:

<div>I would like to introduce you to my dog, Chi. She just turned 10 and has been part of our family for almost 8 years. We originally adopted her from an animal welfare organization in Spain – since then, she has enriched every day of our lives with her joy and love.

<div>Unfortunately, our lives have changed dramatically in the last few weeks. Chi had to undergo many examinations and treatments before a CT scan at a veterinary clinic finally revealed the devastating diagnosis: connective tissue sarcoma on the bridge of her nose. A blood blister has already formed on her forehead. The tumor cannot be surgically removed. The clinic that treated her recommended the Hofheim Animal Clinic to us, as it is one of the few clinics that offers radiation therapy.

<div>Our insurance won't cover the costs because it's not a surgery. Now we have the opportunity to help Chi with radiation therapy—a treatment that could significantly improve her quality of life and give her valuable time. However, the costs range between €2,500 and €8,000, depending on the duration.

<div>Our costs so far have already amounted to:
