Hilda Lopez Cancer/Funeral Fund

Family and Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I can't explain the pain in the passing of my Aunt, Hilda Lopez whom was taken from us on Sunday August 27th, 2017. Hilda was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in April 2017. Within just a few months, the aggressive disease invaded her body and made it too weak for Chemotherapy. She was not able to complete one full session of treatment.

Hilda Lopez was a very strong woman with a huge heart that led her to care for others in her profession as a Nurse.  She never complained or showed pain in her eyes. She was an amazing superwoman that some how managed pain without anyone knowing.  She always cared for family and close friends before herself and expected nothing in return. At her young age of 55, she only carried medical insurance. She stopped working just a few months prior to her death due to sickness, but was unaware it was a result of the terrible cancer. Savings were spent on medical copays and medicine as hospital visits became daily and weekly in the months before her passing.

We as a family are trying to raise $6k to help cover some of her burial expenses, and any amount above the goal will go towards her head stone which has not been purchased and medical bills.  Any proceeds, even change will be greatly appreciated as we would like to lay her to rest this Saturday.

I can't begin to explain how this feels like a horrific dream and in a matter of months, she now is no longer with us. God has definitely gained an angel with a beautiful heart.  As a family, we have gathered together to fight through our pain and pray that we can give her the proper burial.

Thank you to everyone in advance who has taken the time to read Hilda's story. I can't stress enough how grateful we are and how important any amount will be. From the bottom of our hearts, especially the Lopez family, we thank you for the support and abundant prayers poured throughout this painful journey. God blessed her with a beautiful soul but has better plans for her in Heaven.

Speaking on behalf of Jaime, Evelyn, Bernice, Yolanda and Jennifer, they thank you for all the love and support family, friends and strangers will provide in these next couple of days.
