<div><strong>Our current project:</strong>
</div>
<div>The HFPA are currently raising funds to purchase 20 iPads with Grid 3 technology which is a complete communication solution that enables the user to have a voice, control their environment and live a more independent life. It is designed for anyone with complex communication or access needs and includes a wide range of resources that you can control with touch, switch, eye gaze and pointing devices. This technology will give a voice to many young people who attend Highfield who have previously not had one. These Ipads will be given to specific children and move between school and home and will have an enormous positive impact on their lives.

<div>The 20 devices, along with the specialist software will cost £10,000 and we very much hope that this Go Fund Me appeal will help us towards that target!

</div>
<div>The HFPA is run by a small group of committee members, made up of current parents and family members of pupils at the school, along with parents whose children have now grown up and left.
</div>
<div>The objective of the Charity is to raise funds to provide activities, facilities &amp; equipment which support the school in enhancing the students’ experience and advancing their education and well-being. Maintaining and developing effective relationships between members of the HFPA, staff, parents, carers and the wider community, and encouraging their involvement in fundraising activities, is key to the setting of appropriate fundraising goals and successful outcomes.
