Highfield Hybrid 24 Hour Guild Wheel Defib Fund Raiser.

Hi everyone, we are Highfield Hybird , and we are gym located in Cottam. We have started this go fund me to raise money in aid of the North West Ambulance Charity, and in return we will be supplied with a defibrillator that could save a life.

Currently, there are no accessible defibrillators for a one mile radius, which is the difference between life and death for those not only utilising our gym, but also those in surrounding areas who may need immediate intervention. In the UK alone, there are around 100,000 hospital admissions every year due to heart attacks, this equates to one every five minutes.

There is proven research that Defibrillators, alongside CPR, dramatically improve survival rates, therefore we believe it is imperative for our clients, and the wider community, that life changing interventions are readily available in such circumstance where it may be required.

In aid of this cause, we will both be running and walking the guild wheel for 24hours continuously, starting on the 18th May.
