Dear High Ceiling friends, family and fans. We are releasing a new album November 25th and need your help promoting. We hope you will participate in our album pre-sale.
"Easy" was started in Spring, 2015 and features nine original songs. The band has been working hard to create this piece... we feel it's our best album yet and look forward to bringing you this uplifting music!
High Ceiling is a grassroots band without label support. We rely on the support of our fans to help finance our art, and get our music out to the world. Here are some ways we'd like to promote our new album.
Listed by priority:
1. Six weeks radio promotion with "Powderfinger Promotions" to 300 best college/community radio contacts +$600 for postage = $2,000
2. Producing two music videos with "Star Child Creative" = $1,000
3. Album submissons via musicsubmit.com to 1500 radio stations, music webzines, blogs, music 'zines and music communities = $350
4. Advertising at reggaefestivalguide.com = $300
Total = $3,650
Here is how the radio promotion works: we are given contact information for 300+ college and community radio stations. We mail each station Music Director a CD, recommending three chosen songs, and over the course of six-eight weeks, Powderfinger Promotions repeatedly calls each station's Music Director to promote and progress air play. High Ceiling receives a report from Powderfinger at the end of each week, detailing which stations have added our album to rotation and how often it is being played. This type of radio promotion offers great grassroots and community exposure across the country for our band and music!
The album release date is Saturday November 25th and we will be celebrating with an all ages performance at The Capitol Theater in Olympia, WA! Everyone is welcome!
