Abram and Tina Hiebert along with their 4 children need your help. 3 weeks ago their world was turned upside down.
In March of this year Abram starting feeling sick and getting stomach pains. He went to go see his physician and found he had gallstones. He was told he did not need surgery yet to remove the gallbladder. His pains continued to get worse and worse. And his trips to his doctor got more frequent.
Abram continued going to work to support his family. On September 1st he felt particularly bad, but with 6 mouths to feed and bills to pay he went to work anyway. He just continued to feel worse and could just not work. His wife Tina picked him up and drove him to the hospital.
He was suffering from severe pancreatitis. His gallstones had moved into his pancreas. His pancreas was so swollen his lungs are only able to expand to 50%. He was on life support for 2 weeks. They were able to take him off life support on Sept 14. Abram is still currently in the ICU at the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary.
With Abram unable to work the family has no income and still need to pay their rent and bills. Doctors are saying he will not be able to work again for the remainder of the year if not longer. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him.
We are asking for donations and prayers to help them during this though time. Thank you.
