<div>Hidden Stage Sessions e.V. ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein aus Köln, der inklusive und barrierearme Konzerte organisiert. Mit einem kleinen, engagierten Team schaffen wir besondere Live-Musik-Erlebnisse in intimen Räumen, in denen Musiker*innen und Publikum sich auf Augenhöhe begegnen können.

<div>Unser Fokus liegt auf authentischen, akustischen Konzerten in persönlicher Atmosphäre. Die Nähe zwischen Künstlerinnen und Zuhörerinnen ermöglicht intensive, einmalige Momente abseits klassischer Konzertformate. Jedes Konzert von Hidden Stage Sessions e.V. ist ein einzigartiges Event – achtsam gestaltet und mit viel Liebe zur Musik.

<div>Als Verein setzen wir uns dafür ein, kulturelle Teilhabe zu fördern und Live-Musik für Menschen zugänglich zu machen, die sonst oft ausgeschlossen werden.

<div>Inklusion ist kein Zusatz, sondern der Kern unserer Arbeit. Wir gestalten unsere Konzerte bewusst reizarm und strukturiert, mit besonderem Fokus auf die Bedürfnisse neurodivergenter Menschen. Viele von ihnen stoßen bei klassischen Konzertformaten auf unsichtbare Barrieren – genau diese wollen wir abbauen.

<div>Zusätzlich wollen wir auch Vorteile und Stigmata gegenüber neurodivergenten Menschen, insbesondere autistischen Menschen und ADHSler'innen, aus dem Weg Räumen und die Lebensrealität und Wahrnehmung neurodivergenter Menschen sichtbar zu machen.

<div>✨ Bei den Hidden Stage Sessions legen wir nicht nur Wert darauf, ein einladendes Umfeld für unser Publikum zu schaffen, sondern auch darauf, neurodivergente Musiker*innen zu fördern. Wir verstehen die besonderen Herausforderungen, denen sie in der Musikbranche gegenüberstehen – von sensorischer Überforderung bis hin zu sozialen Interaktionen. Oft fehlen das Bewusstsein, die Akzeptanz und die notwendigen Anpassungen, um Auftritte barrierearm zu ermöglichen.

<div>Durch unsere Plattform möchten wir diese Barrieren abbauen, diesen talentierten Musiker*inen die Möglichkeit geben, ihre Musik mit der Welt zu teilen und andere Veranstalter*innen kultureller Veranstaltungen inspirieren, ihre Veranstaltungen für neurodivergente Menschen zugänglicher und barrierärmer zu gestalten. Wir glauben daran, dass jede’r die Chance verdient, in einem inklusiven Umfeld aufzutreten und zu wachsen.

<div>Unsichtbare Barrieren für Neurodivergente Menschen werden bei der Konzeption von kulturellen Veranstaltungen meist nicht bedacht, da es zu wenig Bewusstsein und Aufklärung gibt.

<div>Neurodivergente Menschen sind in unserer Gesellschaft Stigmata, Vorurteilen, Missverständnissen und Ausgrenzung ausgesetzt– gerade in kreativen, kulturellen, sozialen und öffentlichen Räumen. Mit den Hidden Stage Sessions möchten wir zeigen, dass Neurodiverstität ein Gewinn ist. Ob auf der Bühne, hinter den Kulissen oder im Publikum: Jeder Mensch hat das Recht, sich willkommen und gesehen zu fühlen und Teil eines tollen Erlebnisses zu sein.

<div>Inclusion is not an add-on for us – it is the core of our work. We design our concerts to be low-stimulation and clearly structured, with a special focus on the needs of neurodivergent people. Many of them face invisible barriers at traditional concert formats, and these are exactly the barriers we aim to break down.

<div>Invisible barriers for neurodivergent people are usually not taken into account when designing cultural events, as there is too little awareness and education.

<div>Neurodivergent people are exposed to stigma, prejudice, misunderstanding, and exclusion in our society—especially in creative, cultural, social, and public spaces. With the Hidden Stage Sessions, we want to show that neurodiversity is an asset. Whether on stage, behind the scenes, or in the audience: everyone has the right to feel welcome and seen and to be part of a great experience.
