Almost Home Pet Resort Fund

On the evening of Tuesday August 8th 2017 our boss Betsy Hicka suffered a tragic loss when she fell victim to a house fire. Miss Hicka has been a pilar of the Brandon  / Valrico area  for over twenty five years, often volunteering for local events. On top of losing her home, five of her beloved dogs were inside of the home, none survived. Lacey, Starr,  Maverick, Casey and Gidget were loved not only by us but, by the entire community. Lacey, Starr and Maverick all Standard Poodles enjoyed the life of being champion show dogs. Gidget and Casey may not have been show dogs but, their role in our lives is not deminished. Gidget served as an adept wet nurse and overseerer of puppies when the mom was simply too tired. Our little Casey's sole purpose in life was to bring joy and smiles wherever his mischievious behind went. These dogs were part of our pack and I doubt the tears will ever stop. This devastating  catastrophe has left Betsy having to replace nearly everything she owned. Even the smallest of donation will help her pick of the pieces of her shattered life.
