Hiawatha Music Co-op

Tax deductible

Hiawatha Music Co-op: The Roots of Our Music Community. Let’s work together to keep the music playing in our communities!

While our Festival is at rest, we can all still invest!

Well, we are at 59% of our goal of $15,000!  Thank you to each of you who has been able to make a donation!  We are so very
humbled by your generosity!

We were expecting $150,000 in income for ticket sales, camping tags, and parking passes from our 2020 Festival

In 2019, we had nearly 4,000 in attendance at our Festival, with the majority of that number being adults.   If one-half of our 2019 Festival attendees donate $10, we can reach our goal to recover 10% of our expected 2020 ticket sales and have $15,000 for our 2021 Festival start-up fund.

Is $10 too much to ask? If it is, we heartfully understand. If you can give, our hearts are grateful! It can make a big difference in our quality of life and community.  Music has and continues to help us through this difficult time. Together, we can keep the music going.

These start up funds pay for deposits for Main Stage performers, printing of tickets, parking passes, camping tags, posters, early marketing fees and publications, and deposits on porta-johns and tents.

We thank you for your continued support and look forward to more music and good times together!

HAPPY HIAWATHA, FRIENDS!  And thank you,
Susan Divine, of Marquette Michigan,  Executive Director of the Hiawatha Music
Co-op, creator, manager and financial manager of this GoFundMe campaign, on behalf of the Hiawatha Music Non Profit
Corporation.  All funds will be withdrawn and deposited by Susan Divine into the Hiawatha Music Co-op business bank account.,
under the direction of the Hiawatha Music Co-op Board of Directors.

For 42 years, Hiawatha has been providing access to traditional music throughout our communities and supporting the many amazing local and regional musicians that we enjoy when we are out at the brewery, spending time with family and friends at the festival, watching our children learn to love the arts, or participating in a jam or songwriter session.

Music is such an important part of our lives and we need your help to keep the music playing in our communities. Music not only enhances our quality of life but also supports our local economy.

Did you know that the Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival  brings more than $550,000 to the local economy
each year?
In addition to ensuring access to music and income for musicians, Hiawatha also helps generate tourism dollars for local restaurants and hotels as well as retail sales for local businesses.

So, how can you help keep the music going? By donating $10 (the same $10 or more you would have spent on a ticket for festival or other music offerings), you can support the continued operation of Hiawatha, keep the music playing and support our local economy.
