Many children in India are going to school with limited to no access to clean drinking water. 90% of child deaths in India are due to contaiminated drinking water. With limited access to clean water and temperatures reaching up to 45 degrees children turn to drinking contaminated ground water.
SEVAI Shanti School and Go Global are aiming to fundraise $AUD3800 to build a water filtration system that will provide enough water for all the 1800 children in the school as well as clean drinking water for the local communities. This project can be made profitable by bottling and selling the excess drinking water to local communities therefore contributing to reducing the schools $AUD 38000 yearly deficit. If you could donate even just a few dollars we can purchase and install the filter system to improve the lives of these 1800 children.
