Some of you may regard Chantelle as a close friend, others as just a friend of a friend. Whatever the case, she is seen by many people, to be one of the most amazing and courageous women they have ever met. Chantelle has been through some incredibly difficult times in her 26 years, and for those of you that know a fraction of her inspitarional story Im sure it will have touched your heart. She now however undoubtedly embarks upon her toughest battle yet.
Her bravery has never been in question but I truly believe her latest battle can not fail to inspire almost anyone. Even as Chantelle's little sister, writing this note inspires me no end, and it makes me so proud to see her continued strength and will to push through against anything that knocks her down. Always smiling and never taking life to seriously, Channi is guaranteed to touch your heart and put a smile on your face.
It is as a result of this spirit that I ask for a moment of your time.
During her most recent operation Chantelle unfotunately had a major stroke, which has severely effected the left hand side of her body. Following the stroke she had swelling on her brain resulting in a craniectomy, to help reduce the swelling. Chantelle is thankfully out of her 11 day ICU and is now on the stroke ward here at the QE Birmingham hospital, with the hope of moving to a hospital nearer her home in London where she will begin the lengthy and ardous process of rehab. Chantelle's family; our mum, her brothers, her boyfriend and myself would be forever grateful for any donation towards costs, such as travel expenses - manchester to birmingham, London to Birmingham and in forseable future Manchester to London as well as hospital accommodation fees, and any kind donations remaining we will be sure to donate towards a charity close to Chantelle's heart.
My family and I would like to take this oportunity to thank anyone who is kind enough to help, no matter the donation we will be forever grateful.
