Their landlord is not allowing them to move back in after the repairs are made, after 6 years of being very good tenants.
Their baby has some special needs, Mathew has not been able to go back to work yet and Amy filed for disability last year and suffers from many health issues.
They had to deliver the baby at 29 weeks after Amy had just spent 2 months in the hospital to save her own and her baby's life. Then he spent 2 months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Besides many health issues, he needs close medical attention as well as prescription formula.
I am requesting nothing more than what is necessary to cover immediate expenses, (medical expenses alone have exceeded $80k, but that this not what this is about). They have an immediate need for moving costs, some food, medical emergency cash pad and special prescription formula for the baby. After this, we feel like they will be able to get back to living, working and supporting themselves.
They have lost most of their belongings - especially for the baby - and it is nearly impossible to put a price on everything. Nonetheless, a move to a dry place to sleep and eat are paramount.

I thank you for your consideration and support - Thank God for something like 'GoFundMe', as nothing like this has ever been available until just recently - for helping my family (and anyone else) in Houston, TX.
Your kindness will not go unnoticed; be assured that it will be paid forward in some form another.
