HHH-Help Homeless Holidays

Want to join me in making a difference?
I'm raising money to benefit homeless, young people.

Our city has so many hundreds of homeless teenagers.  Shame!  Can you imagine having nobody during the holiday season?  Whether you celebrate Christmas or not there is a feeling everyone gets during the holidays.   Admit it, the end of December and beginning of January can be a wonderful time of the year for every race and religion.  Holiday music playing in every mall and on every station, festive feeling in the air, colored lights and holiday ads. You cannot escape it.   But for many, it is a very difficult time, especially for homeless teenagers.  the holidays are a constant reminder that they do not have their home to go to anymore.

I'm looking for Torontonians and Scarberians who want to help young people experiencing homelessness this holiday season.  We have 150 teenagers/youth in our group homes, shelter and Co-Op housing.  We are hoping to raise $100/youth.   Help me give them all some gift cards so they can get something for themselves that they really want.  Since they are homeless without any financial or emotional support we all should step up and donate to help them out.  Don't we have a humanitarian responsibility to help those who are down on their luck?  Especially the most vulnerable such as kids?  Are we saving lives? Yes. Self-harm and often suicide is a reality, at the holidays for these youth who have faced severe abuse, sexual predators and human trafficking and dissertation from their parents. Desertion often because they identify as LGBTQ2 or due to cultural issues.

We are YouthLink, last year our staff participated in over 50,263 youth mental health sessions.  We operate an Emergency Homeless Shelter for Youth which is equipped with a dog kennel.  it is the only one of its kind in Canada.

Every donation will help make an impact.

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to these kids.
