Josh's Family Fund

Joshua Moffitt passed away this weekend. I am one of his friends and Brothers. I wanted to set this up to help his parents and family in any way we possibly can and this page has already asked me to set some kind of monetary goal and to tell his story and, frankly, I'm at kind of a loss here. How do you monetize this? So, I can only try to do the second part and it's so incomplete because he touched so many lives over the years and enriched so many people with his sense of humor, his passion for performance, and his ability to make everything better around him. 

Josh was a performer. Top to bottom. We were Brothers of Mu Beta Psi, and we met because of his love of music and the stage. We were in shows together, rocked in the same a cappella group, and were roommates during college. We shared many a late night chatting about music, working on our vocal parts, practicing duets, and generally anything having to do with performance. I cannot think about Josh without thinking about his joy for the stage. That's where he put his heart and that's where he shined brightly.

He passed away this weekend from complications with pneumonia and it just doesn't feel real to type that out. He had people with him to sing to him near the end so he was not alone. 

Now, I want to raise funds for his family to help them out. Every cent of this will go directly to them. It's that simple. As soon as I have more details on the service or times or anything, I will update, but I want to get this ball rolling for him because he would want nothing more than his family to be taken care of.
