Ruelas-Rivas Family- Covid 19
Dear friends and family, I am setting up this account to assist the Ruelas-Rivas family with funeral expenses and living expenses for the five minor children. Ruelas-Rivas is my uncle. He and his wife, Karina, have lost their lives to the horrible Covid -19. Humberto lost his fight on 6/7/2020 and Karina lost hers on 6/8/2020. They have left behind 5 minor children, ages 2-17. Their family needs the community more than ever! Your prayers and any type of contribution you can provide will be immensely appreciated. Dear Lord we pray that you protect and guide these innocent children who are left to fend for themselves. May the souls of Karina and Humberto be Resting in eternal Peace. May the family find the strength to move past this tragedy.

El virus, Covid-19 se a llevado las vidas de Humberto Ruelas y su esposa Karina. Los dos perdieron la batalla contra esta terrible enfermedad. Ahora es el momento de ayudar a sus cinco hijos menores, de edades 2 a 17. Estos niños han perdido a sus padres y necesitan la ayuda de todos. Su contribución, ya sea emocional o monetaria, es imensamente apreciada. Que Dios nuestro señor los tenga en su santa gloria. The plan for these funds is to cover the funeral expenses for my uncle Humberto and his wife Karina. A bank account will be set up for the children and the remaining funds will be deposited under their names. The children are currently in need of new beds, linens, clothing, as everything in their home is contaminated due to the virus. Their adult sister will need housing to accommodate the five children. If anyone in the Downey area can temporarily donate a storage unit until the family can move, it would also be of great assistance! GoFundMe allows only one payee for the account, therefore I will be withdrawing the funds and distributing them as described above.
