Hello friends, family/faemily near and far,
I am calling in the corners because I need your help. As of this past week, I've been invited to join The Convent Arts Collective in the Lower Haight.

This is both an exciting and trying time for me. I want to continue to remain in San Francisco and create/co-present works and safe spaces for queers where we can explore, thrive and self-actualize.
The prospect of joining a lovely group of humans and artists in an established communal structure has been one that I've been in the process of energetically manifesting for what feels like a very long time. Moving in to this collective would mean I'd have private living quarters, access to shared art studio space, a movement/dance space with hardwood floors, a low-cost communal food plan, and community amidst other artists. My portion of rent would be $1195 a month. There is a deposit to secure a space that I do not have at this time. As I get back on my feet and take the necessary steps towards finding longevity and sustainability in my practices, I must swallow my pride when it comes to asking for support.

If you've experienced moments immersed in the process/experience of, or benefited peripherally from any of the spaces I've helped to curate with Comfort and Joy, at events in San Francisco or at Burning Man, please consider making a donation to help during this transition. I know that I am asking for a lot. These funds would allow me to make this transition by October 1st when there is an opportunity for me to do so, and at which time I will need a place to live, love, and work. Anything and everything helps. No matter the size of your donation, it will have an immense impact of the success of this endeavor. It takes a Village, People. May the village live long, prosper, and bring us all closer together.
