Wisdom Teeth Removal
So I finally did it and decided to splurge on myself for my birthday! November 13th, the day after I turn 24 I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed! I know, I know, I truly am spoiling myself this year.
In all seriousness though, this is a surgery I needed done 4 years ago, but problems kept getting in the way from it being done. I'm very grateful to finally have a date for when I can say goodbye to the four little teeth that have given me more pain than wisdom (see what I did there? Ha!) but it is very expensive, especially when I don't have any insurance. Any small amount you could give I'd greatly appreciate and if you can't give even just sharing this would be a great help.
I've been in daily pain for so long that I've forgotten what it was like to not have to keep pain meds on me at all times or have my gums bleed from irritation due to overcrowded teeth. I know that may be too graphic for some, but it is the reality of my situation.
Whether you give or not, please at least keep me in your prayers. As I sat in the dentist office today I could feel the weight of dread trying to take root as I was explained the risks and cost for my surgery. I know my Heavenly Father is bigger than my finances though, so I hold Matthew 6:26 close to my heart, knowing He will care for me.
"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"
