Getting it all under Control

We have had a tough time the last few years...we almost lost the house last October because of some issues, and it looks like we are headed that way again this year...I am still trying to get disability for myself...we live on survivor's benefits for the boys...I am unable to get a job because of the fibromyalgia, the medications that they are able to prescribe me that take all of the symptoms away make me sleep for 16 hours a day, this is not feasible for having a job or raising children...off of the medication the symptoms are bad and out of control which means that I do not sleep...I do the best that I can...I am in the process of getting a modification on the mortgage through Keep Your Home California, but that is not a guarantee...it is just a possibility...I am trying to get everything under control...I know that everyone is having a hard time right now...I know that most if not all of my friends are living paycheck to paycheck and do not have any extra...I am hoping that this link can get shared and that it can get to someone that will be willing and able to help...I have talked to debt consolidation specialists...what I was told was to let the house go into foreclosure and be taken and be homeless and then I would get help...that is not what I want for my children...I have tried getting loans, but because of being on fixed income we do not qualify...I am just trying to get everything under control...I want to get out of this hole that I am in...I really need help...I need to be able to get car insurance before my license is suspended, I need to get the mortgage paid before it goes the way it did last year, I need to make sure that the bills get paid each month...I am trying...as you all know, disability can take years to be approved...I have been doing this for awhile now...I am doing my best...I am at my wits end...I hate asking for help...I do not know what else to do...please if you can help it would be appreciated...thank you
