Our Shelby's Vet Hospital Bills

Hello Furbaby Lovers,

This is our sweet loving weimeraner, our baby, "Shelby Girl". She had to have emergency cervical spine surgery last week for her pain and loss of feeling in her legs and could not walk at all (we had to carry her for 2 days prior to surgery, breaks our heart). The surgery went well according to the orthopaedic doctor, but a couple days ago she declined quickly. Shelby got a high fever of 104.2 degrees and we had to rush her back to the Vet Hospital on Saturday evening where she has been since . The doctors believe she now has a perforated G.I. or bad Ulcer (belly area) and this caused fluid in her belly. Shelby had bacteria in her bladder which may have been the cause of the extreme high temperature.

Between the emergency vet hospital admittance, hospital stays, medications, ultrasounds, lab/blood work and general care our bills are going to be close to another $3,000.00 - $4,000.00,  plus more if she has to have surgery in the belly (we are hoping and praying Shelby doesn't as she was starting to progress a little with bearing some on her feet with us holding her up, she still can't stand on own).

We have already spent $5,700.00 that we scraped up for her cervical spine surgery and care, and we are willing to do whatever we can to help our Shelby Girl get the continued medical care she needs. She is the most sweetest doggie and her Mama (me) is super attached to her and vice-versa, Shelby is my shadow. I have never cried so much in my life not being able to help my doggie who I love so so much.

If there is anything you can do to help us with Shelby's medical bills, we will be forever grateful to you. I know there are so many furbaby lovers out there like us and hope you have it in your hearts to help us with the medical costs for Shelby.  Please say prayers for her also.
