HFP Racing Event Relief Fund
Founded in 1988 by Shannon & Jennifer Kurek, HFP Racing has been serving the multisport community for over 30 years. Over the last 3 decades HFP Racing has been blessed to have played a significant role in the building of multisport within the Mideast region. HFP Racing is committed to producing our events that support our core values and mission statement:

HFP Racing continues to this day as a family owned and operated business with the heart of the business being a commitment to our customers…our extended family.
The HFP Racing business model relies on our annual HFP Super Sale to raise the needed revenue to place orders for the entire year for t-shirts, swim caps, finisher medals and awards. This bulk shipment saves us a tremendous amount of money which allows us to keep our races affordable for our customers. However, it also places our company in a low revenue position until the spring when revenue ramps back up. The COVID-19 Pandemic could not of hit at a worse time for HFP Racing. With the State of Ohio mandating a stay at home order through May 1 this set off a domino effect of all of our client events and HFP owned events being cancelled or suspended through at least July 1. Even some of our client events in the fall cannot send in deposits due to the many unknowns.
As a small family business this has taken a devastating toll on our business financially. We are thoroughly reviewing all our options, including loans, grants and other forms of government support, but the timing of these will not fully ensure our short-term viability, let alone our long-term survival. Funds given to this campaign will provide cash resources to support our awesome social media manager, operations staff, operating costs to maintain equipment and have it ready to pull out to our first 2020 event. This fundraiser will help create the structure which will support the remaining 2020 events through and beyond this uncertain time.
