Heroes Hunt for Minnesota Soldiers

Hello Everyone
My name is Jason Galvin and since I was medically retired from the Army in 2007, after my second tour in Afghanistan, I have wanted to be involved with returning soldiers. Recently I had been introduced to a wonderful person who is 100% involved with combat veterans who connected me with Charlie’s Hunt for Heroes. Being an outdoors man this was a no brainer for me.
Hunt for Heroes provides these returning soldiers with an ‘all-expense paid’ day of upland hunting, sporting clays, lunch and camaraderie with fellow servicemen/women and outdoor enthusiasts. Since they launched this event in 2009, over 300+ soldiers have enjoyed a day afield and have been reacquainted with the great outdoors, their hunting passions, traditions and fellow tour of duty comrades. **Priority is given to MN Veterans returning within the past two years of active duty overseas.
Scott County Pheasants Forever is slated to host the 7th Annual Military Appreciation Event ‘Charlie’s Heroes Hunt ‘Upland Hunt & Sporting Clay Shoot’ for local & outstate Minnesota Soldiers on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Caribou Gun Club & Hunting Preserve in Le Sueur, MN. "Minnesota troops have made extreme sacrifices for us by protecting our freedoms and our Country. Our main goal is to give them a well-deserved day afield…bottom line - this day is all about them.”
What I am asking, is for you to PLEASE donate what you can to make this possible. I have set my goal to $2,000, but I am hoping to raise much more money than that. I truly believe that our service men and women are worth everything we can give them because of the sacrifices they make day in and day out. Not only the time spent in combat, but at home the time spent away from their loved ones to train and educate themselves on their jobs so we can be free.
Let's pull together and donate so we can give them something GREAT they can remember for the rest of their lives rather than the horrors of the battle field!
