Alexis's Medical Care

Baby Alexis was born November 4th, 2014 and has been fighting for her life ever since. Born at 33 weeks Miss Alexis is faced with a long road ahead of her to get into the clear of a healthy life. The days spent in the hospital have been filled with good and bad days but she is a fighter!! She has touched so many people in just her 2 weeks of life and we want to make sure she has a long life making miracles happen. Her father returned home early from a deployment in afghanistan to be with his wife and new little angel. With that said the costs of the hospital bills are building. Travel expences and the cost of living out of a hospital are also starting to weight heavy on mom and dad. Insurance is not covering all of Miss Alexis's medical needs and to ensure this is not a focus weighing more on mom and dad, a fund has been set up. Her mother (Cassandra) and father (William) are not working at this time so that they can ensure they enjoy every moment of such a delicate life and are directly involved in every step of Alexis' s care. They are spending every day by the bedside of their daughter while she is in critical condition. Alexis will be hospitalized for a minimum of 6 weeks at Boston Children Hospital. Besides being born premature Alexis has many other medical complications such as persistent pulmonary hypertension, kidney dysplasia, ventricular septal defect, and other complications that the medical staff is still working to figure. We would appreciate any donations to help with medical bills, money for cafeteria food while staying at the hospital, travel expences and daily living needs.
