Help Virgo Beat FIP

Hello, we are Morgan and Alli, and we are trying to fundraise for our 5-month-old kitten, Virgo. He recently got diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis, more commonly known as FIP. This diagnosis is a heartbreaking one, as it means without medicine, he won't make it more than a few months, or even weeks, if it progresses as quickly as this disease does. Ever since Virgo has obtained this disease, he has become extremely lethargic, has swollen kidneys, and has anemia, and without medication, it will only worsen from here. FIP starts as the feline coronavirus (FeCV), and in 10% of cases it mutates into FIP. Virgo used to be a very playful kitten, and now we haven't seen him even be interested in playing for two weeks now. It breaks our heart to see him like this, knowing without medicine and proper care, it will only continue to get worse and would shorten his life dramatically. Until a few years ago, this disease was 100% fatal for all cats that got this diagnosis. Studies have recently been done, and medicines have been tested to help cats like Virgo. Though this medicine isn't FDA-approved and cannot be distributed by vets, it is 90% effective and has helped save thousands of lives.

The vital organization, FIP Warriors, has given us hope for Virgo with a fantastic support group and suppliers of the medicine; the only negative thing, though, is that it is extremely expensive. We are looking for anyone willing to give out a helping hand to try and save our boy's life. We hate asking for money and donations, but it seems to be the only option at this point to keep him alive. Alli and I are both full-time college students working to make a living; as much as we want to keep Virgo alive, we don't have the funds to support him and keep ourselves stable at the same time. Please help us give Virgo the chance to beat this, even something as simple as a share or a quick prayer along your day-to-day.
