<div>An unfortunate incident recently unfolded at a HEX event where the crew’s DJ gear was seriously damaged. During the gig, a distressed neighbour threw raw eggs directly into the sound setup including the mixer and CDJs.
</div>

</div>
<div>The mixer is completely fried and will cost $4,000 to replace.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One of the CDJs needs a full internal clean and repair at $1,100 minimum, with further assessment still to come.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, insurance doesn't cover the damage, and attempts at compensation from the neighbour and venue have led nowhere.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These lovely guys put on so many epic events for our community and rarely ask for help! If you're in a position to chip in toward the repair costs, or even just share this fundraiser around, it would go a long way.
