Our Journey:
For many of you, you have been on a faith journey with us for the past five years as we have tried to start a family. Some of you have joined us along the way and some of you are brand new to knowing our situation, but all of you have joined us in prayer and strengthening our faith!
The last year has been the most eventful, but still with no success. A year ago this month we got incredible news that Ashley was pregnant. After a doctor’s visit and an ultrasound, we found out we had an ectopic pregnancy, which led to a miscarriage. Following the ectopic, the doctor’s suggested Ashley have an HSG to see if there was any endometriosis or abnormalities with her fallopian tubes. With the result of that test confirming what the doctor suspected, she encouraged us to have a laparoscopy to clear any blockage and remove scar tissue from the tubes in August of 2014.
After the surgery we were given a 6 month window to conceive before endometriosis could start returning. Here we are six months later at another crossroads in our journey. We are still believing God has called us to be biological parents and that his promise for our family remains!
As we continue to pray and trust God in this process, we continue to rely on His provision. Thank you for your support in our journey!
