My Agape Pursuit...
A while ago, God planted a seed in my heart-- the desire to provide kids with what I needed as a child.
- a safe place to be real about what is real to them.
- a place where they can learn about God and His love and plan for their life.
- a place where they can get quality help with academics without being a burden.
- a place where they can discover and develop their voice & gifts outside of academics.
I've been on a journey ever since to provide that for EVERY CHILD who crosses my path.
I want kids in our communities to know there is more to life than the immediate present. That they have inimitable plans for their life that is just waiting on them to tap in! I want to bring awareness to opportunities that they may not ever otherwise have access.
More importantly, I want them to know that God is chasing them down with His love for them--that He is in pursuit of them with his perfect, sacrificial love.
All of these ingredients inspired "The Agape Pursuit"--A non-profit that will answer the call that has been placed in my heart. I want to provide kiddos with a solid foundation, and starting this non profit will help me do just that!
So, will you answer the call? Do you see a need for the gifts I am longing to provide?
If so, please donate to help alleviate start up costs of the non profit.
Also, (*insert happy dance*) I want to address the needs of kids as I build. The recent times have left gaps in some of my kiddos’ (from years past) learning. I’ve taught them to be an advocate for themselves, so some have reached out to me for help. I am trying to close those gaps, but I am limited being that I am a full time teacher. An alternate solution is to raise monies to help provide quality help for those students. Most of the money that I am attempting to raise will afford an opportunity to do just that!
Please help me help others. We will be forever grateful for your help in getting the ball rolling!
