Heslington Community sports centre has been vandalised and serious damage has been done to the clubhouse. The clubhouse is used for football throughout the winter, cricket throughout the summer and is a place of safe fun for youngsters all the way up to veteran sportspeople. Funds are being raised to cover repairs necessitated by this completely unnecessary, but sadly becoming more common, attack. We will also aim to improve the security measures around the clubhouse in order to deter and prevent future vandalism.
