<div>Many of the adults you pass every single day — at the grocery store, at work, in line for coffee, sitting beside you in church — are carrying childhood trauma they never received help for.

<div>They were the quiet ones.
</div>
<div>The strong ones.
</div>
<div>The ones who grew up fast.
</div>
<div>The ones who learned to stay small and stay safe.
</div>
<div>The ones who survived things they were too young to understand — and had nobody to turn to.

<div>They became the adults who were “missed.”

<div>Not because they weren’t hurting.
</div>
<div>But because they learned, early and painfully, that no one was coming.

<div>These adults enter their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s still carrying wounds they were never given the tools to heal.

<div>And the hardest part?

<div>Most of them have no idea what's wrong.

<div>“I’m too much.”
</div>
<div>“I’m too emotional.”
</div>
<div>“I’m too sensitive.”

</div>
<div>“I should be over this by now.”

<div>They are not “too much.”
</div>
<div>They are unhealed.
</div>
<div>And not because they didn’t want help —
</div>
<div>but because help was never offered.

<div>For years, survivors gathered online at Healing Place @ Hesed — over 250 hours of trauma education, nervous system support, and community connection.
</div>

</div>
<div>And then this year… something incredible happened:
</div>
<div>We opened our doors for the first time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For the first time, adults with complex trauma could walk into a safe space and say:
</div>
<div>“I’m ready to heal. But I can’t do it alone anymore.”
</div>
<div>We watched people who spent decades feeling invisible suddenly feel seen.
</div>

</div>
<div>People who spent their entire lives bracing for impact finally take a breath.
</div>

</div>
<div>People who thought healing wasn’t possible rediscover hope again.
</div>
<div>And now — our work is expanding faster than our resources.

<div>✨ The ENGAGE Program connecting survivors and nonprofits

<div>✨ Long-term plans for a trauma center and tiny home community
</div>
<div>We are building what so many survivors needed years ago —

<div>and what far too many still don’t have access to today.
</div>
<div>And we can’t do it alone.
</div>
