For the last 24 years, Heritage Chevrolet has sponsored a food drive for the benefit of the Tomahawk Emergency Food Pantry and the Town of Nokomis Food Pantry.  This is event commemorates the death of an employee of Heritage Chevrolet in an automobile accident a few days before Christmas in 1996, leaving four small children without a mother.

Because of the current Covid-19 Pandemic, this year we are moving the food drive online. 100% of the donations collected will be turned over to the respective food pantries with Heritage Chevrolet covering all the costs of the campaign. Local merchants are donating merchandise for drawing prizes awarded to persons that contribute to the food drive.

In the past, Heritage Chevrolet placed a Silverado pick-up on their showroom floor.  Individuals would bring in their donations of non-perishable food items, put them in the truck and register for a prize drawing. In previous years, enough food was collected to supply the food pantries for six months!

This year, 40 local merchants have contributed merchandise or gift certificates to be used in the drawing with a combined value of more than $3000.
