Hercules’ FIP Battle

Hercules has been diagnosed with neuro FIP. He’s had two doses of the FIP treatment and is starting to improve already. He is still strong and has been very combative with the techs who are taking care of him. This morning he started eating on his own again. His temperature has still been fluctuating between normal (102) and high (104). Because Hercules is a special case, being both blind and deaf plus whatever else he has going on neurologically, I’ve been told that the injections may be too much for him to mentally handle. But I’m going to try the injection treatment first because it is so much cheaper and it supposedly has better absorption than the pills...he’s been getting injections at the vet so far. I feel sick to my stomach over all of this. Partly because of Hercules being sick, and partly because of how expensive the treatment is. Plus whatever his hospital visit has cost and future bloodwork to make sure he is improving. I am hoping we can raise some of this cost to save Hercules again, so I have started this gofundme if anyone would like to contribute. I’ve placed an order for appx 2 weeks of his medication which should be here in a few days.
