(11.07.2020 - 17.07.2020) As if it wasn’t hard enough, there is also the equivalent elevation gain to climbing Everest. We’re undertaking this challenge to raise money and awareness of a local cause, Get The Boys a Lift (GTBAL). See more information below. Diolch Guto a Gwyndaf x ------------------------------------------------------- Mae 'Get the Boys a Lift' yn gorff sy'n gweithio er mwyn gwella iechyd meddwl yn Sir Benfro, heb wneud elw. Yn 2019, ar ol sawl blwyddyn o gyllido torfol, wnaethom agor ganolfan galw-i-fewn yn Hwlffordd, sydd hefyd yn gwerthu coffi a dillad. Diolch i lwyddiant gwerthiant o'r ganolfan a chodi arian torfol, mae 'Get the Boys a Lift' wedi helpu dros 120 o bobl yn ein cymuned i gael help a chymorth yn rhad ac am ddim. Ar ddiwedd 2019, wnaethom ennill Gwobr Lles ac Iechyd Meddwl y 'Western Telegraph'. Mae hyn yn gydnabyddiaeth eu bod nhw wedi helpu GIG i leihau amser rhestr aros a rhoi cymorth proffesiynol effeithiol i gefnogi pobl sydd â phroblemau iechyd meddwl yn Sir Benfro. Mae ystod eang o wasanaethau proffesiynnol bellach ar gael yn y ganolfan o gwnselydd, cymorth cyffuriau ac alcohol, cymorth materion tai a chyngor cyllidol a llawer, Dyma’i gwefan: Get the Boys a Lift Get the Boys a Lift are a not for profit organisation working to better improve mental health within communities. In 2019, after a few years of crowdfunding, they opened a self funded drop in facility which also doubled up a clothing and coffee store. With thanks to the sale of coffee, clothing and fundraising efforts, Get the Boys a Lift's independent drop in has gone on and funded for over 120 people in Pembrokeshire to access free and independent support on both a drop in and continual basis. In late 2019 they were recognised in actively easing waiting lists and helping the NHS work load by offering affective and professional means to supporting mental health in the community and won the Western Telegraphs' mental health and wellbeing award. The services which they're able to provided by funding professional bodies to be on site ranges from counselling, drug and alcohol support, housing issues, financial support and much more.
