Hi! My name is Daniella Butler-Cardoza and I am the author of "Her Stolen Tears," “24 Hours to Vegan,” “The Road Worth Traveling,” and other works. I’m also the mother of two, a veteran, and an entrepreneur.
**I'm asking you to please support my project and to share it with others via your social media networks. This project's starting point is a poetry book, which will include you if you contribute to the project with a donation, but it's ending is a nonprofit for women. Join me on this journey because I truly believe it is so worth it.**
To me, writing poems means freedom. I love to express my emotions through the written word, in the form of poetry stories. I love the relief, the rhythm, and the artistic release of everything within. Though my poems are personal, a significant part of my work is also expressing the emotional journeys of others. I want my readers to understand that they’re never alone, and I want them to see themselves in my words. My poetry is all about connecting people.

"Her Stolen Tears" is a poetry book dedicated to the emotional struggles that too many women have had to endure. It's a cathartic release of emotions through their stories and journeys in the areas of grief, abuse, neglect, bullying, and more. Hear poetry stories from the silent voices of those whose tears were stolen and have your own story written, as well. #HerStolenTears

I've started a closed Facebook group for the contributors/fans of this project. Join us for the #HerStolenTears book's progress and upcoming events. Add to the discussion about grief, loss, abuse, bullying, etc. Tell your story or that of someone you love(d). Share what you're doing to help make changes in your community and/or beyond. If your profession is in the line of grief counseling, for example, you are more than welcome to list your information. So that we’re not overwhelmed, or bombarded, details on when or what you can post during specific times or days will be listed clearly in the group.

How Funds Will Be Used
** 5% of the donations will be given to the charity we select in the #HerStolenTears Facebook group. **
Your contributions are greatly appreciated! However, I would prefer to put a copy of my book in your hands. Therefore, any contribution of $30 or more will receive a signed copy of my book. All contributors will be acknowledged on the Thank You page inside the book. In addition, if you contributed at least $30, you will be sent a copy of the book before its release date.
The main purpose of this GoFundMe campaign is the pre-sale for "Her Stolen Tears". It will allow me to pay for the resources required to bring this book to life, as well as distribute it to those who would benefit from its existence. In addition, it will allow me to create/write custom poems by June 1st, which is before the official June 21, 2019 launch party; June 21 is also my birthday. Finally, contributions will give me the opportunity to print early copies of the book in bulk for the Cincinnati Juneteenth Festival on June 16 and the Mid-Ohio Indie Author Book Expo 2019 on August 10.
