As our nation begins to come alive again after the past year of dormancy, local DC theater artists Anna DiGiovanni and Rachel Felstein invite you to join their effort to bring live work back to the stage! Along with director Séamus Miller, these ladies are delighted to be bringing you a fresh adaptation of Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT. Presented at the iconic D.C. War Memorial, this 90 minute adaptation by Mr. Miller will be chock full of music, gender bends, and passion for the play’s immortal words.
With your help and generous donation, Ms. DiGiovanni and Ms. Felstein are committed to provide all the actors involved with Actor’s Equity standard wages. As actors themselves, these artists know too well how difficult the past year has been without opportunities to work creatively and earn a living by their craft. They are determined to supply their company with a safe, playful, and positive experience.
The majority of the $20,000 budget for this project is comprised of artist salaries. The rest will go toward everything from costumes and sets, to everything necessary to provide COVID-19 safety protocols for the company and audiences.
