(Hepatic Failure)- Hospitalization For Siwansh

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Ashis Dhakal.  The reason I'm creating this fundraiser is that this baby is sickly ill in Kathmandu, Nepal.

He has Hepatic Failure; this occurs because of the loss of liver function. After he was born time passed by and his family didn’t know what had happened to their child. They found out after 14 days, it was Hepatic Failure (Liver failure). They have been facing this adversity for 7 months through the pandemic with no adequate help from the government in Nepal. Mahesh Awasthi (Father) has been asking for help with the government in Nepal for almost 7 months, but the case has been paused and simply ignored. Every day he is battling the pain and the baby is sickly ill, His name is “Siwansh Awasthi” he is 9 months fighting this obstacle. The “Awasthi’ family comes from a very poverty-based background where earning income sources in “Nepal” has always been a challenge. His father worked as a reporter to earn any income to provide for his family, due to the hospitalization of his child he has quit his full-time job to seek help to fight this adversity for his child. The “Awasthi” family has no way to provide for hospitalization to take care of him. Recently with the help of a small donation from friends and family, he is admitted to “Rela Hospital” in Chennai, India.

Please make any contribution to Siwansh Awashti he needs your help more than ever. They recently did a liver transplant. His father Makesh Awasthi was able to give his liver to Siwansh Awasthi with help of God, family, and friends. But he is not done fighting this adversity. He still has long way to go, although he is doing much better. There has been a huge financial issue after the surgery he has been spending his time at the "ICU" with a ventilator, medication, for 7 months and the cost of living at the hospital is extremely high. The estimation of the cost is around $25,000 - $30,000 thousand U.S. dollars. The baby has monthly checkups which are about $300 - $400 U.S dollars. The father had also spent one month at the hospital after doing the liver transplant and then he returned home (Nepal) to seek adequate resources from the government to raise funding but the government is ignoring him. Mahesh Awasthi has been trying to go back to India but due to the pandemic, there is a lockdown in India and Nepal.

The pandemic has been a big factor for the family it has increased their hospitalization fees. The child was moved to a secure room so that he doesn’t get infected by the virus in “Rela Hospital” in Chennai, India. They are paying around $500 U.S dollars for the room a month. The mother is in deep pain, she wants her child to recover quickly. The mother and the baby are by themselves in India and their father is stuck in Nepal due to the lockdown. The doctor has ordered the father to relax and stay home so that he can recover from the surgery that took place in Rela, India for a Liver transplant.

The “Awasthi” family has no income sources to provide for the hospitalization fees. Siwansh is battling this adversity and has been persevering through the pain. The “Awasthi” family still has to pay $22,000 thousand U.S dollars. He needs your help. Please help this child overcome this adversity. He needs you. If 4,000 people donated just $5, We can collect $22,000 thousand. Please give him a bright future and a new life. I know that this child will have a bright future leader and will do big things in life.

Are you willing to contribute $5, $10, $15, or even $20, to help him overcome this adversity?
